Design:

Use Newstead Abbey as inspiration and create a design for the character Queen of Hearts for a film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland with a large budget.

- Create proportional drawings of specific areas of my design, choose three final ones that best communicate my design to specialist makers.

- Use texture to show material qualities in these drawings.

- And present the work professionally.

Audience is the children and families that will visit Newstead Abbey, be light, fun and inclusive. Experiment with scale and be playful.

Construction:

Use the original book Illustrations as inspiration and create a garment or accessory suitable for dressing up. It is intended for families to interact with these garments make sure to consider Wearability, Suitable Fasting's, fit and durability.

The garments will be made from calico consider dyeing, printing and painting techniques that can enhance my design. All samples should be included in the sample book.

Assessment Rubix:

-Research need to include a wide range of resources and results should be meticulously documented, mention thoughts and how this research could be applied to my design.

- Experiment with media to develop original techniques and designs.

- Use these skilled and innovative techniques to create a garment.

- Present all work with exceptional visual communication and explanations of thoughts, ideas and processes throughout.

- Show self-management skills, planning, prioritising and time management, monitor and reflect on personal progress throughout.
