Step 1- I started by creating puffy underskirts out of gathered strips of white tule and added an elastic waistband to help create the shape of the skirt that I wanted.
Step 2- I then made a simple full circle skirt with a thin waist band and zipper in the back.
Step 3- Start constructing the bodice, for this I used yellow fabric that I previously dyed with natural dye.

Step 4- Then I cut and gathered the puff sleeves and added elastic round the bottom to create the desired shape.

Step 5- I added fusible interfacing to the centre back and hand sewed eyelets to create a lace up back.

Step 6- I added green edgings and the lace that I dyed with pomegranate.

Step 7- Was time to embellish I wanted to go all out with this step first I used embroidery thread to create a small detail at the bottom of the bodice.
Step 8- After I experimented with different types of ribbon flowers that I could add to the waistband of the skirt, I settled on a small design with a button in the middle and hand sewed these along the waistband.
Step 9- Creating the wings using wire, I used the skills I learnt in the millinery wire workshop to wrap and sculpt the shape I wanted. Then I stretched and stitched lace flowers on.
