Natural Dye Experimentation

Dye Samples:

To create the fabric for my sleeve I used weld Skems to first dye the fabric bright yellow then I used Iron Ferrous Sulphate to created an olive green. I wrapped the fabric round a pole and scrunched it up with string to create a long lined pattern across the fabric. I think this has been very effective and has achieve a subtle naturalistic look that I wanted to achieve.

I also dyed lace and some fabric for the main bodice using dried Pomegranate this created a much duller and natural looking yellow.
