The main body of my design will be made from wadding to hold the desired shape, the front and back pieces will be attached via a thick band of elastic over the shoulders, allowing for adults and children to easily wear the same costume. I will decorate the front with appliquéd red died calico in heart shapes to closely resemble the white rabbit costume in the original illustration. If time allows, I will hand stitch decorative embroidery on these pieces to add extra details and tie in with the gold band. This will be created again with died calico wrapped with gold thread and braided into a trim that will be stitched in place. The sleeves will be created much the same way however use stiff interfacing to hold the desired shape. The exaggerated bows with sit on top of the sleeves covering the elastic over the shoulder and linking the sleeves into the main body. This exaggerated shape will be created with netting covered in red calico.

- Create Bows out of the dyed calico using netting to create more shape and stitch in place.
