Laser Cutter

Materials:

-Laser cut lace

-Laser cut leather

-Synthetic fabrics such as nylon and polyester wont fray

-Acrylic have lots of different finishes and can be engraved into.

-Paper and card can be cut by the laser cutter although it leaves a slight burn on the edges.

-Plywood

Creating laser cutting templates in Adobe:

First choose an image and draw over the outline on other layer. Make sure to set the layer option on the image as template. If the image has contrast select dim to be able to see the shapes better.

Draw all the cut lines first then lock the layer.

Pen tool- hold and drag for curved lines

Red- Cut

Green- Engrave

Fill- must be clear
